Coterie Wine Collection is privileged to have a team of wine professionals that bring in decades of international and local wine industry experience

Dmitri Lazariuc 

General Manager 

Being a second-generation winemaker, Dmitri has been around a winery his entire life. Over the last 15 years he has gone from vineyards, cellars, barrel storages, anywhere where he could get his hands dirty with this glorious product, we call wine, to sales and marketing.

At COTERIE Dmitri oversees national distribution of premium Australian and International wine brands. 

Bela Rice 

Sales Manager – VIC, SA 

Bela has over 25 years wine industry experience, selling, consulting, distributing, and educating.

For the past 13 years before joining the Soumah team, he ran his own wine consultancy, ”Grape Ideas.”

Wine has been his lifetime passion, and when not officially working, there is every chance he will be dining out with friends, tasting, and talking wine. At COTERIE, Bela represents our partner brands in Victoria and South Australia. 

Scott Bailey 

Sales Manager – VIC, TAS 

Scott immersed himself in the world of wine over a decade ago when he fell in love with the history and diversity while managing a restaurant in Tasmania. He has since dedicated his time to studying every aspect of wine he can. With a heap of experience running venues across Melbourne Scott jumped at the opportunity to work with COTERIE and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and passion to the team. Scott enjoys all wine styles and varietals but has a soft spot for acid, finesse, and depth like Nebbiolo and Rieslings and slight smoky character like cool climate Syrah.

At COTERIE Scott represents our partner brands in Victoria and Tasmania. 

Monique de Jager

Sales Manager – VIC 

Seven years ago, our only “South African Kiwi” fell in love with cool-climate wines and the diversity found in the Yarra Valley.

It was the Pinot Noirs that grabbed her attention but the Italian grapes that made her stay. Mon is passionate about working in our Italian-style venue, especially for the familiarity of the rustic, homely nature she experienced while wining and dining her way through Italy. Believing there is never enough to know about wine, she will gladly geek out with her fellow winos.
